About Prashas One
A technology platform for home tuition fee payments.
Prashas One is operated by Prashas Research Consulting Pvt. Ltd. It facilitates customer-initiated home tuition fee collection and onward payout to a tutor bank account or UPI ID verified before payment.
Business model
What Prashas does and does not do.
Customers enter the tuition fee agreed directly with their tutor. Prashas verifies the nominated payout destination, creates the payment transaction, sends the customer to the hosted payment gateway, verifies the gateway result, and processes the corresponding tutor payout.
The tutor independently provides the teaching service. Prashas does not employ tutors, deliver classes, sell courses or eBooks, operate a school or coaching institute, determine tuition fees, or promise educational outcomes.
Prashas is not a bank, card network, lender or payment gateway. Gateway checkout, bank processing and beneficiary verification are performed by the relevant authorized payment partners under their terms.
Fund flow
A clearly recorded transaction path.
1. Customer instruction
The customer identifies the tutor and enters the agreed fee.
2. Beneficiary verification
The tutor bank account or UPI ID is verified before checkout.
3. Gateway collection
The payment gateway processes the customer payment for the Prashas transaction.
4. Tutor payout
After payment confirmation, Prashas queues payout to the verified tutor destination.
Separate supported use case
Professional association fee payments
Prashas also facilitates application and membership fee transactions for named third-party professional associations. The association, not Prashas, provides or approves the membership and any certificate. These transactions are identified separately in the application, payment record and invoice.
